Carnac megaliths: Unesco-listed site
Just 50 km from the campsite, you’ll find the megalithic site of Carnac, a mecca of European prehistory and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since July 2025.
The megalithic alignments of Carnac are made up of menhirs, dolmens and covered walkways spread over more than 4 km.
Between the Gulf of Morbihan and the Quiberon peninsula, the seafront town of Carnac is a renowned seaside resort. Here you’ll find a casino, a thalassotherapy center and, of course, fine sandy beaches.
Suscinio Castle
Just a few minutes from Camping La Blanche Hermine, discover the majestic Château de Suscinio. This superbly restored former residence of the Dukes of Brittany transports you back to medieval times.
Facing the ocean on the Rhuys peninsula, this historic site offers an exceptional setting for a family visit.

Zoo de Branféré: wildlife and botanical park for families
Less than 7 km from the campsite, the Branféré animal and botanical park (Zoo de Branféré), welcomes you to spend a pleasant day with your family.
The Branféré animal and botanical park and its Parcabout, or Branféré Zoo, is the most visited park in Morbihan.
Set in a botanical park in Morbihan, Branféré Zoo is a vast space where over 150 species live.
Stroll through immense meadows, islets and undergrowth. Watch the daily bird show.
Discover the world of animals and plants. Get up close to some of the animals that live in semi-liberty, such as cranes and marras. You can also come face to face with a pygmy hippopotamus, a lemur, a zebra, a rhinoceros and a giraffe.
Camping La Blanche Hermine, with its covered, heated swimming pool and children’s pool, is the closest campsite to the Parc de Branféré, making it the ideal place for the whole family to enjoy the greenery, swimming pool, games, walks and a change of scenery, 7 km from Branféré zoo (10 minutes by car).
La Blanche Hermine campsite, ideally located just a stone’s throw from the zoo in Muzillac, offers reduced-price tickets for admission to Branféré Park. Tickets are on sale at the campsite reception.
Tropical Parc: botanical gardens and dinosaur park
30 km from the campsite, Tropical Parc welcomes you to its botanical gardens in Morbihan.
Discover the flora and fauna of the 4 corners of the planet and the dinosaur park.
The Tropical Parc is a real tropical forest recreated in Morbihan.
You’ll find a waterfall, cascades, carnivorous plants, orchids and greenhouses from Mexico, Asia and Africa.
Stroll through the Asian greenhouse and its bonsai trees, admire the decoration of the Buddhist temple.
Head for South America and discover the world of cacti. And many other surprises await you…
You’ll be able to rub shoulders with kangaroos, alpacas, dwarf goats, peacocks, turkeys, pigs from Vietnam and Indonesia, cranes, parakeets and more.

Océarium du Croisic: 56 aquariums to discover
The Aquarium is located near the Port du Croisic, 50 km from Camping La Blanche Hermine.
TheOcéarium du Croisic is one of France’s largest private aquariums. Covering an area of 1,700 m², it exhibits over 4,000 animals in 56 aquariums.
Dive into the heart of the Atlantic, the Indian Ocean, the Pacific and the Mediterranean.
All these ports of call reveal diverse forms of life, flamboyant colors and unsuspected riches.

Le Camping La Blanche Hermine est idéalement situé pour explorer la région ! We’re less than 30 minutes from Vannes, the capital of the Golfe du Morbihan.
Enjoy the peace and quiet of our family campsite and quickly reach the medieval city, its port and ramparts. You can even take advantage of this proximity to Vannes to visit the Château de Suscinio in Sarzeau or stroll between the megaliths of Carnac, a Unesco World Heritage Site since July 2025, two must-sees in our selection of family visits.
